All very nice mate, I've owned two out of this collection of many you've had over the years. Txt in Beech was the pick for me and sadly I done a deal to get the 97 pictured on the floor. Nice rifle the HW but just never did it for me,very plain stock that's all but immaculate!! BAM 40 22.,Tx 200 22. HW 97 KT 22 and now Pro Sport walnut 22. Tx and pro sport neck and neck but never had anything that was rubbishy of yourself and Vizlauks all quality every time. If I had to pick from these I wud be Tx in walnut and 97 KT nickel they just look class.

Good on you all, and it always heartens me to see that not only do people use their guns, but also look after them.

I may be an old boy with old principles but I have always taken care of my guns, and they have always looked after me!

Help me out with a general question, I note a number of Air rifle owners have/use a lot of different air rifles. Why do you have/need so many, I'm struggling to see the dramatic difference of one to another that justifies so many, especially as we are talking sub 12ft lb? Is it just the tactile, and I can, so why not approach, or do you find a genuine need?

These days I only find the need to run 2 Air rifles, 12ft lb and FAC, both .22, a few shotguns and an assortment of rimfires and centrefires. does me.

Cheers.

I think Deker the thing with air rifles, apart from making grown men misty eyed, reliving the happy carefree days of their youth, is they seem to have an attraction all of their own, that encourages collecting/swapping, also unlike ourselves, most of these lads use airguns exclusively, no rimfires or centrefire, and as such constantly search for the holy grail. that state of air rifle nirvana that can never quite be reached, because another manufacturer brings out another model, with a better stock, or bull barrel or bigger shot count, etc etc the air rifle makers know this, make no mistake, and as such make huge profits, but in my opinion, long may it continue, lets face it mate, in this gun phobic modern society, owning a tool capable of putting meat on the table, and providing so much enjoyment without a license, is one of the last freedoms Joe public has left, relatively free from state intervention, for how long is another question :hmm:
